- Walk and cycle shorter trips and choose public transport for longer ones – not sure how? the Transport Direct website will help you plan your public transport trip. The Sustrans website can help with cycling and walking trips There is also a Walkit website though it does cover London it currently hasn’t got any locations listed in the South East.
- Eat locally produced seasonal fruit, vegetables and other produce whenever possible. Eat Seasonably gives ideas, not only on what fruit and veg to eat but also helpful tips to get you growing your own.
- Eat less meat and dairy products. Vegetarian food isn’t all lentils, muesli or cheese. Meat Free Monday could help you experiment with tasty home cooked or ideas of what to buy in the supermarket.
